Here are the top 10:

1 Bill Gates (age: 54 , U.S, Microsoft) $56 billion
2. Warren Buffet (age: 76 , U.S, Berkshire Hathaway) $52 billion
3. Carlos Slim (age: 67 , Mexico, telecomunications) $49 billion
4. Ingvar Kamprad (age: 80 , Sweden , Ikea Company) $33 billion
5. Lakshmi Mittal (age: 56 , India , Mittal Steel) $32 billion
6. Sheldon Adelson (age: 73 , U.S , casinos) $26.5 billion
7. Bernard Arnault (age: 58 , France , LVMH) $26 billion
8. Amancio Ortega (age: 71, Spain , Zara) $24 billion
9. Li Ka-Shing (age: 78 , Hong Kong , various businesses) $23 billion

It seems like the top 10 still remained the top 10. How I hope i can make it to the list one day

It is great that the number of billionaires are increasing and the overall global economy is also increasing. Moreover, being an Indian myself it is also good to see that India has the second highest numbers of persons in the forbes top 20.
India has three which is next to US which tops at 5.

In the completed list till twenty, the Indians are:

L N Mittal (5 th rank)
Mukesh Ambani (14 rank)
Anil Ambani (18 rank)

Incidentally, Mukesh and Anil Ambani are brothers and had divided their properties a few years back after the death of their father Dhirubhai Ambani.
If the two would have been remained united, it could have been a totally different ball game altogether.

What are the richest families in the world? I'm pretty sure the Waltons(Walmart) or the Rockafellers are up there.

I have heard they have preaty good fortune too.

The Waltons seem to be spread out between ranks 23 to 29. There are 5 family members from what I can see. Must be nice!
