How do you fix stuff on your credit if you default on it? I have a few things I default on and when I tried to call the company to pay it, they tell me that it's no longer in our office and to call so and so.. If these is the case if I petition it to get it removed will I have a higher chance since it's no longer in there office and with another company? I really would like some help on fixing my credit so I can get on with my life...

When your creditor tells you that your account "has been transferred" or "no longer in the office", it means that your account was sent to collections. Once this happens, your credit report will reflect a "collections" account.
If the information reported is true, then usually its difficult to get removed. Has the account been paid off yet? |
