Is this not insane? I just opened a few accounts at my newly opened, local credit union--they handed me a packet the size of a dictionary regarding their policies and services--one of which is...
If you need a new (or new to you) auto, not only will they finance it, but they will help you find one for free. If you don't have time to shop (or just hate car shopping more than cleaning the bathroom), they will go out and FIND YOU A CAR FOR FREE! Is that not insane? Could you imagine a bank even thinking about providing such a service-- I think not--- |

I feel strongly that the best way to go about getting a car loan is through a credit union. Their rates are generally lower than most banks and they make the hassle and stress of buying a car a little better once you get to financing.
I've financed three cars through Golden One Credit Union, and everytime--once I finally got done haggling with the salesman--I knew the rest of the ordeal was going to just be a matter of signing my name repeatedly and they would take care of everything else. |
