Kudos to Wells Fargo--as far as simple banking goes. You know, savings and checking, even IRAs.

Their employees, both over the phone and in the actual banks, are extremely pleasant to deal with and more than accommodating.

However, when it comes to home and car loans, you're better off going through a credit union or mortgage broker.

FYI...Wells Fargo uses ChexSystems to verify new accounts.

I personally had quite the battle with them a few years back-needless to say, I lost the battle- I am quite disgusted with their loan practices, therefore i cannot say what I really want to on this post- My mom always told me that if you don't hav anything nice to say, don't say anything.

We dont really have Wells Fargo bank here in Atlanta but I use them for my mortgage and I've had zero problems, personally I like credit unions more than banks.
